JailbreakiOS 8.4 using TaiG 2.4.3 Version New Release with Cydia 1.1.23 Integration

TaiG has released v2.4.3 jailbreak tool with a couple of improvements. The new TaiG v2.4.3 tool is around 68MB in size and brings Cydia 1.1.23 integration. It ships with optimization tweaks to smoothen the jailbreaking process. Since the tool is compatible only with Windows, Apple PC users are waiting for a Mac version that can run TaiG v2.4.3 via virtual machine software.

Here are complete instructions for jailbreak iOS 8.4 with TaiG 2 on Mac
  • Backup your iOS device with iTunes or iCloud.
  • Make sure your iOS device is updated to iOS 8.4. See the current firmware version under Settings -> General -> About -> Version.

NOTE: If you are already jailbroken with an earlier version of iOS, it is recommended to update using iTunes on a computer.

  • If iTunes is open, quit the program. Developers will need to quit Xcode.
  • Now you are ready to download TaiG 2 for OS X. Click Download TaiG Jailbreak Tool for Mac in the middle of theTaiG home page to get the latest version.

Below is the step-by-step procedure of updating your Apple device to the iOS 8.4 jailbreak, according to International Business Times:

  • Step 1: Back-up your data, preferably using iTunes.
  • Step 2: Download the latest version of TaiG jailbreak tool for Mac.
  • Step 3: Turn off passcode and Find My iPhone.
  • Step 4: Open TaiG jailbreak tool and connect the device to the computer using the USB cable.
  • Step 5: After TaiG jailbreak tool detects the device, deselect the 3K Assistant 2.3.0 (TaiG’s App Store), just below Cydia.
  • Step 6: Click on the Start button to proceed.
  • Step 7: During the process, the device will reboot a few times. Once it is done, the device will reboot one last time and the Cydia icon will appear on the Home screen.


TaiG was quick in releasing updates for the latest iOS 8.4 jailbreak, which it released last week hours after Apple seeded the official version of iOS 8.4 to the public.
